Learned so
many good things!
I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I’m a photographer and love taking photos and videos on my spare time. I never really learned any colour theory before but this was a really nice introduction for me. Would definitely recommend to anyone getting into colour theory. Overall a good read!
The Cinematic Palette is a beautifully written and surprisingly approachable guide to how color shapes emotion in film. It doesn’t feel like a textbook, it feels like a passionate filmmaker walking you through the hidden language behind every great movie. The examples are vivid, the tone is genuine, and by the end, you’ll never look at color in cinema the same way again. A must-read for anyone who loves storytelling through visuals.
Great stuff
This book is cool, I liked how it explores differents directors and shows their own palette! Definitely worth the price
